Pelvic Therapy Services We Offer
-

Pregnancy Physical Therapy
We are dedicated to helping you have a healthy and empowering pregnancy experience. We can help you decrease aches and pains, prevent injury, keep you active in the safest and most beneficial way, and help your body accommodate your growing baby without common side effects.
Our specialized approach begins in the second trimester, with a focus on preparing your body for labor and delivery to reduce the risk of tearing during birth.
-

Postpartum Physical Therapy
After you have your baby, we have a new way to aide in postpartum recovery.
We're here to help you get back to being active, decrease any symptoms related to birth and pregnancy such as prolapse, diastasis, leaking, heaviness, c-section scarring, and more.
-

Pelvic Pain Treatment
We offer treatment for pelvic floor pain that starts with a thorough initial evaluation to find the root cause.
Pelvic pain can be frustrating, embarassing, and unpredictable and we’re here to help you not only navigate it, but also treat it so you can return to living life pain-free.
Some of the pelvic pain dianoses we treat: generalized pelvic pain, pain with sex, abdominal/c-section pain, pubic bone pain, sacroiliac joint pain, low back/hip pain, lower extremity pain, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis.
-

Pelvic Organ Prolapse Treatment
There are several risk factors for developing pelvic organ prolapse, and while pelvic floor physical therapy cannot completely reverse a prolapse, we can help you strengthen your pelvic floor from below and decrease your pelvic prolapse symptoms.
You do not need to live with the “feeling full” feeling or constant pressure in your pelvic region and you don’t need to “just deal with it” or accept that it will continue to get worse or that surgery is your only option.
-

Menopause Treatment
Hormonal shifts, bone health, and pelvic floor changes can all exacerbate existing dysfunction or create all new pelvic floor issues.
Our skilled therapists use a super-personalized approach to ease discomfort, improve sexual health, and educate our patients through this milestone.
Menopause doesn’t have to be confusing and miserable. We’d love to help.
-

Clogged Ducts and Mastitis Treatment
Clogged milk ducts occur when milk flow is obstructed, causing a tender lump in the breast that may feel swollen, warm, or painful.
This can make breastfeeding uncomfortable and stressful, and if left untreated, clogged ducts can lead to mastitis, a more serious infection.
We offer treatment that can help relieve symptoms, restore milk flow, and support a more positive breastfeeding experience.
Our Pelvic Therapy Process
60-Minute one-on-one evaluation and follow-up treatments: You will work one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy for 1 hour.

Appointments with a true pelvic specialist: You will always be working with a pelvic floor physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction.
Treatment that works and individualized treatment plans: This is so much more complex than just Kegels. We will create an individualized program tailored to your specific needs, educate you on how to manage your symptoms, and empower you to take control of your health.

Hold your kids without pain
Cough or sneeze without having to cross your legs
Enjoy pain-free intimacy
…and so much more
