Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

We offer the best Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy for women of all ages in the Conejo Valley.

Too many women live with symptoms that are common, but NOT normal, throughout their lives, from pre-pregnancy to menopause. Our goal is to get you back to the activities you love without symptoms, no matter what stage of life you are in.

Pregnancy Physical Therapy

We know that many pregnant women assume that the symptoms they feel are just a part of being pregnant and something that they just need to deal with.

Pregnancy doesn’t have to be full of aches, pains, and fear around what to expect while you are pregnant, during birth, and preparing for the postpartum period.

Our prenatal physical therapy sessions can help you feel great throughout pregnancy and prepare you in every way possible for birth and beyond.

Postpartum Physical Therapy

You don't have to live with pain, leaking, or limitations. Postpartum physical therapy can help you recover properly, prevent long-term complications, and return to the activities you love, whether that's running, lifting weights, playing with your children, or simply getting through your day without discomfort.

Whether you delivered vaginally or via cesarean section, your body has undergone tremendous changes that affect your musculoskeletal system, pelvic floor, and core. Our therapists are specially trained to guide you through a safe and effective recovery process, helping you regain strength, and function.

Clogged Duct Treatment

A clogged milk duct can turn breastfeeding from a bonding experience into a painful struggle. That tender lump in your breast, the localized swelling, the discomfort with every feeding… We know how much it affects not just nursing, but your entire day. The good news? You don't have to wait it out or worry about it getting worse.

We specialize in treating clogged ducts for nursing mothers, providing fast, effective relief and helping you prevent progression to mastitis.

Pessary Fittings

We provide comprehensive prolapse and incontinence care. Pessaries are a non-surgical option for managing pelvic heaviness, prolapse, and incontinence.

And when paired with pelvic therapy, this can be the secret sauce to alleviating your symptoms without having surgery.

Pessaries are for women with pelvic organ prolapse or stress urinary incontinence.

Menopause Pelvic Floor Therapy

As women transition through perimenopause and menopause, they often encounter a variety of changes that can impact pelvic health and overall well-being. Our specialized pelvic floor physical therapy services are designed to support women during this important life stage, offering tailored care to address the unique challenges they may face.

Our pelvic floor physical therapy services are designed to provide compassionate care and effective solutions to help women navigate this important life transition with confidence and comfort and we’d love to support you on your journey through perimenopause and menopause.

Interstitial Cystitis Treatment

Interstitial cystitis (IC), also called bladder pain syndrome, is a chronic condition marked by bladder pain, pelvic pressure, urinary urgency, and frequent urination without bacterial infection present.

What is frequently missed in the conventional treatment model is the role of the pelvic floor muscles. Research shows that the vast majority of people with IC also have pelvic floor muscle tension or dysfunction that directly contributes to their symptoms. In fact, addressing the pelvic floor is often the key to unlocking lasting relief.

Endometriosis Treatment

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory disease in which uterine-like tissue grows outside the uterus — often on the ovaries, bladder, rectum, pelvic ligaments, and surrounding structures. This tissue causes inflammation, adhesions, and significant pain throughout the pelvis and abdomen.

When your body is in pain, your pelvic floor muscles respond by tensing up in a protective guarding pattern. Over time, this creates a cycle: the more pain you experience, the tighter and more reactive your muscles become, which can make the pain worse. This is where pelvic floor PT comes in.

Constipation Relief

If you’re straining, going infrequently, feeling like you can’t fully empty, or relying on laxatives to get by, your pelvic floor could be playing a bigger role than you think

Constipation is incredibly common and something we see all the time in our clinic.

At Cappuccino Physical Therapy, we take a whole-body approach to help you restore normal, comfortable bowel movements.

Return to Run Program

Whether you're a few weeks postpartum or it's been years since your last run, you deserve a specific plan tailored to your body and your goals

Our Return to Run program is designed to get you back on your feet safely, without pelvic floor symptoms holding you back.
